joined with their allies and participated in an Immigrant Worker Freedom
Ride to continue the fight for their rights in the workplace.

Memphis Flyer- September 18, 2003 The Immigrant Workers Freedom Ride
stopped in Memphis this week. The rally took place at the Civil Rights
Museum in support of an improved immigration policy as well as immigrant
workers' rights.
Group Offers Prayers at Pictsweet

Son- December 11 2002 In Bells, Tennessee, a prayer vigil was held for the
workers at Pictsweet Frozen Food
company in hopes of better working conditions, higher wages, and better
health insurance. It was conducted by the Mid-South Interfaith Network.

21, 2002 The boycott of Fred's store has increased to a second location
this week. The boycott began due to the mistreatment of Fred's employees
last May.
