stopped in Memphis this week.
The rally took place at the Civil Rights
Museum in support of an improved
immigration policy as well as immigrant
workers' rights.

In Bells, Tennessee, a prayer vigil was held for the
workers at Pictsweet Frozen
Food
company in hopes of better working conditions, higher wages, and
better
health insurance. It was conducted by the Mid-South Interfaith Network.

The boycott of Fred's store has increased to a second location
this week.
The boycott began due to the mistreatment of Fred's employees
last May.
