Learn about Worker Rights
An
estimated one in four Memphis workers are paid less than a living wage.
Surveys by WIN have found that two of our three Memphis low-wage workers
have experienced wage theft. In thirty percent of union organizing drives,
employers illegally fire workers who are union supporters.
But we can stop injustice in the
workplace. Only by organizing together can workers and their
faith community allies make living wages, fair working conditions,
and a voice in the workplace a reality.
