    Faith and Labor Picnic

9th Annual Faith and Labor Picnic
The Faith and Labor Picnic, held each Labor Day, is the annual fundraiser for Workers Interfaith Network. The Picnic is also the largest labor-sponsored event in Memphis held on Labor Day weekend.

We invite you and your family to join us on Labor Day, September 5, 2011 for the Faith and Labor Picnic. The Picnic will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church in Midtown Memphis, 1738 Galloway Ave.

Picnic tickets can be purchased at the door. Adult tickets are $12, kids are $6, and family tickets are $35.

Entertainment at this year’s Picnic will include: John Kilzer, Danza Azteca, Alicia Washington, & Esteban Alexis!

Spread the word about the Picnic to your congregation, union, or community group using our sample newsletter announcement.

In 2010, the Picnic brought together 460 Mid-Southerners who care about worker justice for food, fun, and fellowship. The event raised over $23,000 to help WIN stop wage theft and campaign for living wages.
